Dear Dancers and Parents,

Christmas is just around the corner and so is our first performance. December performances are as follows:

Thursday, December 11th, 7:00 p.m., McIntyre Park Middle School Auditorium
(Tickets available December 1st - $5.00 each. 3 & under are free.)
Friday, December 12th, 6:00 p.m., Victorian Christmas, (in front of Toscoga)

There will be only one rehearsal onstage the week of the performance, Tuesday, December 9th. All dancers will be required to attend this rehearsal.  Advanced dancers should be onstage at 4:30 p.m. for a staging rehearsal; all dancers should be onstage for dress rehearsal beginning at 6:00 p.m.

All dancers except Tiny Stars (Wed. 2:30 class) and Tippy Toes (Wed. 3:00 class) will perform at Victorian Christmas.  Dancers should be dressed in black jazz pants, long-sleeved pink leotards, Dance Theater t-shirt, pink ballet shoes and hair in a bun. (Advanced dancers - you will wear red dresses with black, long sleeved leotards underneath.)  If it is raining (or drizzling), we will not perform. Parents please use your best judgment.

Costume orders have been placed and most costumes will arrive within the next couple of weeks so that we may use them in our Christmas recital at McIntyre Park.  Costume balances will be due December 1st.

Once again, I must ask parents not to stay and watch your child's class each week. Of course, I do not mind if parents occasionally drop in and visit from time to time.  I know that most children gain more from their dance lessons when parents drop them off and return to pick them up at the end of class.  Please remember that there is not adequate childcare for children not picked up promptly at the end of class.

There will be no classes on Wednesday, November 26th or Thursday, November 27th. The studio will be closed for Christmas beginning December 22nd and will re-open January 5th.
